The picture above is a my mash-up. It's a simple combination of kowhai flowers that are native to New Zealand and a lamp. ;)

My team and I are learning about gears.

Task 1 - Mood Board

I created a mood board as part of a team and create a MOOD BOARD to illustrate Steam Punk.

Chocolate Muffins

This is another batch of chocolate muffins that my partner and i did. I think it turned out very well because the look and the taste of it was good.

Tuna pasta

Ingredients:

Milk              

Flour           

Cheese       

Water       

Onions        

Macaroni   

Steps:
1.Boiled macaroni, keep stirring well until soft.
While your stirring add your ½ a cup of corn.
Then when finished strain and rinse under cold
water then set aside.
2. Fry onions until soft.
3. Add your ½ of cup of flour and grab your
whisk and start whisking. Keep doing this until it
looks like bread crumbs.
4.Then add 1 cup of milk to the mix, bit by bit until
it looks creamy and smooth. If you run out, use
the other cup of milk and keep adding until the
results are expected. keep stirring until it looks
like the gravy from KFC.
5.Once you finished that add the cheese to the mix
and stir till the cheese has melted.
6.Then add your salt and pepper. Now add your
tuna.
7.Now add your macaroni and corn to the white
source.
8.Then grab your baking tin and place the baking paper.
Now add your tuna pasta in and top it off when some
more cheese.
9.Bake in the oven until it looks golden brown.
10.Now Bon appetit!!!!!!!

This here is Tuna pasta that Paterita and I made together. It turned out well
actually, better than I expected. The white sauce was hard trying to make it
look like the KFC gravy but in the end the whole dish itself was delicious.
Mrs Tuipulotu suggested this dish is easy to make at home.

French toast

Ingredients:
Eggs
Milk
Bread
Butter

Method:

Step 1:Whisk 4 eggs with ½ c of milk

Step 2:Slice the bread into pieces, each group must have 8 slices of bread

Step 3:Dip bread into milk and eggs, line it on the white chopping board

Step 4: Start frying the bread until golden brown

This is french toast that my partner and I made. I honestly think that the french toast we made turned out better than alright. It was golden brown when it came out like expected on the board.

Will Smith's Well-being

Will smith’s Well-being

At first Will was happy, especially when Uncle Phil handed him tickets to the
clippers. It was great but he had realised what happened to Carlton because
of him, then his feelings started to change after he found it hard to confess. I
think he must of found it hard to confess because of the response he could
get back (which is the truth)."My son would have died because of you!", that
line really made Will think about everything and why it happened. There his

emotions are let out that links to his mental/emotional and his physical
dimension because of his actions that caused the trouble. It also affected his
social well-being because of what he did affected his cousin and his family.
For spiritual well-being, he believed that confessing was the right thing to do,
to get it off his chest.

Accenture Trip

Today a lucky few of us were chosen to go on a trip to the city to learn more about technology. What I found interesting that in most careers there aren't just pens and paper, these are also a technology side to it.

What I loved about when Timoti spoke, was that he mentioned that there are opportunities out there for Maoris and Pacific people. Like us pacific students, I think we need to take those opportunities that would probably lead to success or even lead to becoming the first child in your family to go to university.

The code games were fun, I enjoyed it. I think I know what Karl was trying to say about technology. When I look out into the world, technology is all around us, and we use it in almost everything, every day of our lives. Technology has made a huge change.

My dream career is to be an Architect. I looked at the opportunities I could get when Karl because of technology. I didn't want to leave but I actually enjoyed my time there.

Our new Government

Maybe throughout the next three years, things won't be the same as it was with National. Maybe in the future all three parties can come together as 1 government and hopefully they can work together to do what's go for New Zealand.

If I were Prime MInister for a day

If I were prime minister for a day I would like to help the children that are in needs and give them something that others have but they don’t. For example food, clothes, uniform if their parents are unable to afford it. I would help charities and also help the communities. I would  make sure that families are covered and warm. I would want things to change but for the right reasons. These would be things I would do if I were a prime minister for a day

Wood-tech

In term 2, i have been working on this box and i think that I succeeded to get it looking like a box but not really as smooth as i think it would be. But anyways I have achieved this goal on making my on box. There may have been some tough times trying to get the right measurements and if it was the same but I finally got it to look like a box even better than I expected. Yeah I made the box but I couldn't do it without Ms Ferguson.

What was life like for the Tokelauans?

The New Zealand government had offered the tokelauans to become New zealand citizens. Tokelauans felt that there were more opportunities in New Zealand for a job and a better system of education. The government even offered scholarships so this is the reason why they left because of a better life in New Zealand and their education for money but mostly to support their family. Now, less tokelauans are returning back home to take care for their family.

What are keyboard warriors? Keyboard warriors are people who are cyberbullies, people who type things about people online instead of going up to them face to face. I really don't know why there are keyboard warriors known as "Cyberbullies". Why do people even bother to bully others online and talk about them because I don't. There's know reason for that. People need to stop it's like ever since technology came it has been major cause to us people. Well I really don't know how to stop them but I hope this does stop IMMEDIATELY!!!

In my exam I think I did so well even though I didn't have enough time to studied for the proud of myself for doing better than great. To be very honest, I didn't think that I was going to that well because to me I did awesome. It wasn't really a challenge because I think that the topics that were given was all about sustainability and I was able to discuss it easily. I didn't prepare properly and I was never ready for the test. I think that I did well in Social studies and maths, those are my subjects that I love and good at. I think that I didn't a little bit bad in English but there's is always another way of achieving again. I think that I did okay in science. In science I should or given more better answers so that I would of got a better grade. I don't know what difference that I would do to make sure I do better in the next exams but I know that I would to do a lot of studying.

Year 8's graduation

Last night was the night that the year 8’s were graduating. It was such a fun night for the year 8’s, all the food, pictures from the past and mostly spending time with our friends. Parents proud, Teachers proud most of all the children being graduated. I hate that we are being separated from each other next year but probably we will be able to see each other next year.

I can't image life without

Todays activity was about making our own web of what we can't imagine life without. As you can see this is a screenshot of my web and those are the things that I can't imagine life without. I really did enjoy doing this activity because I love drawing so it was really easy for me to get this done.
