Life in tokelau is hard. I think this is because people in tokelau don’t really get that much. The New Zealand government had offered the tokelauans to become New zealand citizens. Tokelauans felt that there were more opportunities in New Zealand for a job and a better system of education. The government even offered scholarships so this is the reason why they left because of a better life in New Zealand and their education for money but mostly to support their family. Now, less tokelauans are returning back home to take care for their family.
